The Men’s Shed supports the Little Free Libraries in the City of Belmont initiative. We have built libraries for community groups, the City of Belmont and Belmont Forum. Ron from the shed was at the opening event of the library at Bilya Kard Boodja lookout which was painted by local resident and artist Ken Farmer.

Buddy Benches are all about inclusion and fostering a sense of friendship. Belmont Men’s Shed made this Buddy Bench for the Base@Belmont Youth Centre to support their youth build a real sense of mateship with their peers.

Jacaranda Community Centre
The Men’s Shed has built new ramps for Jacaranda Community Centre to improve accessibility for all its visitors.

After School Kids Program
The Men’s Shed ran after school woodwork programs for the Base@Belmont Youth Centre. The courses ran for 6 weeks and catered for both boys and girls from the youth centre.
Queen's Park Primary School
Children at Queen’s Park Primary School created some amazing artwork. Our Men’s Shed crew framed the kid’s paintings so they could be displayed for all to enjoy.
